Sketches
Rougher and looser digital and traditional sketches. These are to quickly explore ideas and have limited edits.
Digital Sketch
A rough digital sketch.

Traditional Sketch
A rough sketch started traditionally and edited digitally.

Process: 1 round of revisions.
Once drawn on paper the sketch will be scanned and edited digitally. Simple changes can be made.
Digital Pencil and Ink
Digital Pencil
Digital drawings made with brushes that emulate pencil.

Process: 2 rounds of revisions.
You’ll get a chance to check the rough sketch for the basic pose and proportions.
No major changes to the pose or proportions can be made after this stage.
Once approved, I’ll finish the drawing. Small adjustments and details can be changed at this stage.
Digital Ink
Digital ink drawings, made with a brush that emulates a slightly scratchy traditional look.

You’ll get a chance to check the rough sketch for the basic pose and proportions.

Digital Colour Add Ons
Digital colour add on for sketches, traditional pencil drawings and digital inks.
Please note this is the price for colour only and not the price for the full commission.
Simple Colour
Flat colours with loose simple shading. Using brushes and textures to give it a traditional watercolour look.

Traditional Watercolour Paintings
Detailed watercolour paintings.
Hot press or cold press paper.

Process: 3 rounds of revisions.
Once the rough sketch is done it will be scanned and edited digitally. You can ask for corrections at this stage.
(If the illustration is complex I might start the drawing digitally)
No major changes to the pose or proportions can be made after this stage.
Once approved, the drawing will be transferred onto watercolour paper.
Once its transferred and painted I can’t make changes to the original but I can make small corrections or simple colour adjustments digitally.
Creature and Character Design
Concept sketches and reference sheets
Price depends on the complexity of the project.
Will require more discussion, planning and time than regular commissions.
Concept Sketches
Digital sketches to explore ideas for creatures and characters. Or help to redesign an old idea.
Same as the regular digital sketches option.For sets of three, let me know what different ideas you want me explore. For one creature/character only.

Two drawings exploring different ideas with the last drawing based on the preferences of the first two.
One idea drawn and shown at a time.

Examples are old! Current reference sheets will be done in my digital ink style with simple digital colours for clarity.
